About VICTORIA

Originally British, (I became an American Citizen in 2014) and I have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area as a permanent resident since 2003. I am an Interior Designer and Home Stager by profession and own and run my own company.

Close to nature in the heart of The Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Muir Woods and a major metropolis such as San Francisco. You can see San Francisco's South Bay from both cottages.

As the daughter of a British Army Officer, initially I traveled extensively to other parts of the world following my father's career and then subsequently my own. I fell in love with the San Francisco Bay Area when I first visited here in 1997 and I was captivated by the beauty of Muir Beach particularly, fairly early on in my visits to San Francisco from London.

I bought two cottages in Muir Beach in 2008: The Cottage At Muir Beach and Mole's Cottage named after my beloved Labrador companion of 15 years and the characters in a book I grew up with entitled 'The Wind In The Willows.'

It is an exceptional privilege to find this place and by offering Mole's Cottage as an adjacent property to The Cottage at Muir Beach, I am now able to fulfill the many requests I've received over the years from guests who have stayed, to expand the accommodation I offer.

I have taken several years to develop both properties and beautiful succulent gardens at Mole's Cottage and lovingly renovated it's simple structure with imaginative ocean-inspired decorating that I trust will inspire.
