This magical and enchanting rural escape features a queen master bedroom with ocean views, attic/loft sleeping area with 2 twin beds. Please note that the loft space is not full head height so is best suited to children. Adults willing to be more flexible have also made use of this extra sleeping room while staying. There is also a built-in sectional sofa in the living area with extra bedding in the roll out drawers below. Also included: a charming living / dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. Private deck and parking for 2 cars.

The Cottage At Muir Beach is situated next door to Mole's Cottage separated by a private and inspiring succulent garden. The location of both these cottages not only provides privacy for those seeking a private retreat, they also cater to families and friends who wish to book two properties in reasonably close proximity so they can vacation in the same spectacular location if required.

The Cottage at Muir Beach is enveloped by the constant therapeutic sound of the ocean and is the kind of heaven on earth that soothes the soul. Although it is within easy reach of everything, it feels like a world apart. Owned, operated and decorated by renowned British interior designer Victoria Hamilton-Rivers.

The nearest local town is Mill Valley that is approximately 10 minutes drive from the property. There are stores, restaurants, banks, cinema, Sweet Water Music Hall (where local bands play) and more, in nearby Mill Valley.

Muir Beach has it's own local pub and restaurant - The pelican Inn. Please see Useful links for more details.
Muir Beach also has it's own local well water supply that is regularly tested and drinkable.We have our own highly trained volunteer Fire Department too so any emergency response needs are prompt and dependable. In the event of emergency please call 911 and our volunteers will immediately be paged.
